Invention Submissions

Each year, Intellectual Ventures receives tens of thousands of invention submissions for review. On average, IV accepts less than 10% of all patented inventions sent to us. To date, IV has evaluated more than half a million inventions. Due to the high number of inquiries we receive we are not able to personally respond to every request, however we do consider each one carefully.

If you would like to send us information about an invention that you think would be of interest to us, please use our invention submission form to send ONLY PUBLIC INFORMATION (for example: published papers, patent numbers, or published patent applications) to our acquisitions division.
